Mak luxury rooms is a family business, in the area of ​​Ammoudia, Preveza, 45 km from the city center and only 20 km from Parga. Our main goal is to ensure a pleasant stay to our costumers by providing them everything they need, in a peaceful and clean environment. The location of the rooms is in a quiet area which makes it ideal for relaxation, while it is close to shops and the localmarket.

Ammoudia is a small, quite village on the Ionian seaside. It is well known for its large, sandy, golden beach with shallow water. Some of the beach cafes offer sunbeds and parasols but there is also a lot of space at the beach which is unoccupied. The mythic river Acheron flows into the sea right next to the village. Even though Ammoudia is a small village it offers some taverns, cafes and mini markets as well as beach bars. Also, its location is perfect to explore the nearby attractions.

Syvota
One of the main reasons why Syvota is consider one of the most exotic destinations in Greece is the combination of blue and green they offer. They are famous for their lacy shores, luscious green islets, long sheltered beaches with crystal clear waters and secret coves. At a short distance visitors can enjoy the little island of Mavro Oros, Agios Nikolaos, Mourtemeno and other smaller islets. Tourist usually rent a boat in order to explore the beaches and the coves of the area.
Parga
Parga is a well-known town of Epirus, located by the sea, as well as a famous holiday destination. It is amphitheatrically built at the Amvrakikos Gulf, where the island of Panagia lays under the shadow of the towns’ Venetian castle. Visitors can take a stroll up to the old town where they’ll enjoy the famous architecture of the town, walk around streets with beautiful arches, discover flower-filled neighborhoods with picturesque little houses and colorful mansions and end up by
having a drink enjoying the mesmerizing sunset view of the emerald waters of the Ionian Sea from the Venetian walls.
Acheron- Necromanteion of Acheron
The Acheron is a river located in the Epirus region of northwest Greece. It is 52 km long. Its source is near the village Zotiko, near the city of Ioannina, and it flows into the Ionian Sea in Ammoudia, near Parga. It is a well known river which according to the ancient Greek mythology was one of the five portal rivers to the Greek Underworld.
The ancient Necromanteion of Acheron is located in the village Mesopotamos, in Preveza, northwest of the Acherousia lake, the entrance to the Underworld. The Necromanteion is at the top of a hill to which visitors of Akrotiti Hemeriou, which is at the village of Ammoudia, went, in order to communicate with the souls of their loved ones.
Preveza
Preveza town is located at the Amvrakikos Gulf and is blessed with landscapes, green areas, great beaches, places with great history, ancient sites and monuments. Visitors can enjoy walks along the harbour and the old town and see the beautiful traditional buildings. It is the capital of Preveza Regional Unit where you will find the local administrative, commercial, cultural and tourist services.
Discovering Paxoi and Antipaxoi
Parga is the ideal place for visitors to start their getaways to the Ionian islands. In this way visitors can get a close up look to two of the most famous Ionian islands, Paxoi and Antipaxoi. Usually such cruises include a passage through the blue caves as well. They start from the port of Parga, approach Paxoi and Antipaxoi where they give visitors the opportunity to swim in the turquoise crystal clear waters of the area, while in Paxoi they have the opportunity to visit the center of Paxoi and explore it for some hours. These excursions start early in the morning and end in the evening.
